Sprucing up a dull living room

I love everything about this sofa, pillows, etc...my sofa is similar in a dark gray/blue tone. I actually ordered the bamboo shade pillows from room and board- can you recommend coordinating tones? Patterns?

My living room is off the kitchen, I have a med grey sofa, my cupboard are dark ,dark brown, the island is cream color, what color on my kitchen wallms and what colour on my living room walls, my wood work is all white.?
