I would ask my contractor or the granite supplier for a larger sample of the granite & look at the combination at different times of the day. This is a huge investment and you don't want to second-guess yourself.

I personally think the black and tan granite goes better with darker tone cabinets such as cherry - assuming what we see here as black and tan is the same thing in your area. I don't see it with the cabinet and floor color that you have described. I couldn't find anything here on Houzz but did a google search and lots of pictures come up.

Thanks, I've been trying to find a a pic on Houzz as well but will google. The granite is primarily black w/ tan w/ deep peach undertones.

This granite is coffee brown.

It erased my other comment. It really depends on the lightness of the floor and everything else around. My dark perimeter granite works because I have a dark walnut island against the Creme cabinets on the perimeter. If your floor is lighter than what I have pictured, the dark granite may "weigh" down your cabinets and may look oppressive. If this is not your forever home, I would put a lighter color quartz. More up to date choice for resale.

Is this what you mean by Black and Tan counter tops? It's what I have and looking for a fabulous wall color
