I have the exact situation over my towel bar/near the door in my master bath. You don't have enough room for 3 pictures no matter how you hang them. I have one larger print slightly smaller than the width of the towel bar centered over the towel bar and 5"-6" above so you have room to hang and remove your towels without disturbing the picture. Something interesting with the colors of your bath accessories?

My vote is to return art and consider (if possible?) removing the towel bars and hanging 2 towel/robe hooks and then displaying 2 big towels.

I have to say I don't think they work either direction, either.

PS, I think I have the same towel rack, and the towels in my case hang directly over my forced air vent... VERY nice in winter!

I think one larger or two larger pieces would work better.

The ones you selected are too narrow.

Also, if you are going to stay with the grey/blue towel color, I would try to buy art that works with that color as well.

Two, yes, that would work, Grover has the right suggestion. Although depending on the heights of the individuals using that room, I'd likely hang them a few inches higher (I'm six foot one and don't want navel-height art. Or, in any case, art I'd bump into while removing/re-inserting the towels when in a hurry)

I don't think the three fit anyway you configure them.

Can you get a fourth and go with a big square?

If not, I vote for getting something altogether different -- one large piece.

Unfortunately that would mean damp / wet used towels leaning against the sheetrock. I'm figuring this is to be a space for towels that would be used! Daily!
