Do you have a photo? Did you mean taj mahal?

I looked up Taj Royale. Is it the ceasarstone quartz one? I think a quiet off-white tile will look nice. We used Crossville Ashbury Fleece Crackle with Taj Mahal quatrzite. Yours looks similar. I also saw a nice picture where someone used a neutral toned travertine and that looked nice too. I woudn't do stark white, nor would I introduce a bold color. If you want to do something other then the 3 x 6 subways, you could choose a quiet off-white one just in a different shape in bring an added bit of interest.

I'm also looking at Taj Royale with Timid White cabinets (BM) and this tile (for backsplash) from Home Depot. See link below. It looks beautiful.

We used a cream colored hexagonal glass tile with our Taj Royale. There are a lot of color tones in the Taj Royale ranging from white to cream to caramel but it does not have a lot of movement. With while cabinets I'd pick up some of the other colors in the cream to caramel range in the backsplash. Pick the tile after the counter is installed.

Stan B: Would you be willing to share a photo of your Taj Royale? It helps so much to see the whole piece instead of a small sample piece. For some reason I haven't seen a Taj Royale slab yet in stock at the stone yards I've visited so far.

I actually just left a stoneyard and I think I have decided on Taj Royale. My cabinets are definitely ivory, not white, and TR coordinates perfectly.

I have also chosen TaJ Royal with Beach White Cabinets. I am having the hardest time picking out a wall paint color. The room is not that bright and faces east. Any ideas as I try to lighten up the room a bit,
