Wall gallery idea

Can I create a wall gallery behind the stove? Because it's a lonely stove the way it is.

Any ideas please?

Under the stove can I create a small platform made of concrete?

There was a woodstove like this in my childhood home. It rested on a layer of bricks on the floor with a simple 2x4 frame around it to keep the bricks together (no mortar needed). Maybe glazed tiles hung on the walls would be a colorful and heat-safe way to decorate the walls.

I love the idea of the fireplace decal. It is an inexpensive, playful way to decorate around your stove. You wouldn't even need to change the black pad underneath. Hanging art over the "mantel" would complete the look. Your container for wood could be a bright, funky color. Add that in art and accessories in the room to tie it all together.

Also calculate what capacity woodburner you'll need for the volume of the room. And let a specialist check your chimney.

Don't laugh or call me crazy.... but I've bought the stove just for decoration. Where I live we don't need that heating in our homes!

No, just put a kettle on it, otherwise people might want to make a fire in it. Some small candles inside will be fun.
A concrete plateau and some cement or handglazed tiles will look great. Keep it simple. Maybe a traditional pattern on the tile.

Do you have any ideas about a log storage. Something to fill around. I have about 3 metres space.

Don't add a log storage, since you won't use the fire. Add some raw trunk stools around it instead. Or log pillows. A log carrier with magazines in it. Candle holders inside the burner (remove the door?).

Tip: when you hang a white painted plywood panel above&behind the wood burner, you can hang your items on nails and repaint the holes over and over when restyling.

What I'm searching for is Scandinavian style. And I wish to leave my stove free standing.

Thank you for your help indianpatti. But it's not the style I'm looking for.

    But Thanks anyway.

I don't have a picture, but the panel should be painted the same white as the walls, so it will blend in.

Or use a natural plywood board or some planks as a mantle/backboard. Easy to make, quick finish.

This is a quick sketch of one side of the open plan.

I wanted to create a feature wall for the wood stove area because it's like it is making part of the corridor.

This looks a bit Scandanavian, but not your stove. Found it looking for "faux fireplace." You might see some cool ideas for the focal wall by searching in the box above under Photos.
