Furniture layout - kitchen/living

Can you help? I can not figure out how to orient a living area in this space --- with a sofa (not purchased yet), oversized ottoman (40" x 40") and a low tv center (70" x 18"). It would be nice if the sofa faced the fireplace that is at a diagonal on the right side of the kitchen. I also can not block one side of the balcony door - it opens on the side closest to the fireplace. My ottoman and tv center might be too large for this space - but I want to see if there is a chance to make this work

That appears to be the main entry door on the left living room wall so I woud NOT float the sofa to face the fireplace. You need to maintain a minimum of a 3' walkway. Put the sofa on the long wall and mount the TV over the fireplace. You could then add misc. chairs to create a grouping. I would do a mid-sized club chair (preferably with a swivel mechanism) on the left at an angle and then a smaller and more airy chair near the fireplace.

Tough room. But here is option. Key thing. Sofa should be no longer than 80” x 36” deep. Get a swivel chair and a swivel base to turn your TV a little. If you must, hang it over fireplace if allowed. Your TV console can act as nice furniture piece with large art over it. Since the room is long and it appears you have window on the side wall? Pull sofa into room and put sofa table behind it with a pair of lamps. You could also do an arc lamp to curve over your large ottoman.
