Hello! That is actually an interior window wall. The bathroom is adjacent to a hallway and we utilized the slope of the roof here to get extra light into this bathroom (there are two skylights in the hallway on the other side of those transom windows. the flat part of the ceiling is at 10' above the shower floor.

Thank you, I have 10 feet tall ceilings and trying to decide if going to the ceiling with shower tile (as opposed to 8 feet high) is the right decision.
That’s a lot of tile!

It helps that this wall slopes! If it were 10 feet all around, I may have a made a different decision and stopped the tile at some other datum. Good luck with your project!

I have square windows similar to the photo. So I might decide to stop below window.
I’ve done a fair share of remodeling but this house Desert Southwest is not the New England homes I’m used to. Kitchen is done and moving into bathrooms next month.
