I vote a weathered silver or satin nickel also. The gold hardware is new and already over used. Every remodel looks the same. Reminds me of the 80's.

Are the gold legs integral to the vanity? If so, you probably should stick with gold hardware. Also consider the other metals in the space: mirror frames, door knobs, lighting, faucets, etc. Mixing a couple of metals can work, too many and it looks disjointed. Good luck with the project. The vanity is gorgeous.

Cabinet makers usually give you a finished sample piece to approve the finish before they build. I had to sign on the back of my half and the cabinetmaker’s half of the sample piece so color choice could be verified upon receipt. I’d take that sample to look at hardware choices, then decide which finish looks best to your eye.
