Decorate around small tube tv?

I am only in this apartment for a year so buying a flat screen or a large wall unit are not options. So please give me some inexpensive advice about how to decorate around this old-school tv (I will get a cheap stand for it to sit on) . The wall is so vast!! Thanks

Go to IKEA and design an inexpensive entertainment unit that will fill the wall, hold the t v and then you can take it with you to your next spot and use it with a flat screen.

Why do you want to "decorate around it"? ... stick it into a piece of furniture with doors and ignore it.

Find something more interesting then an old television to "decorate around" ... plenty of great inspiration on Houzz!

To the OP that wall is a perfect canvas for something and I say do a gallery wall that makes the tv "fit in"

I wouldn't decorate around it either. It's small enough to put it on your bedroom dresser or on the kitchen counter. Decorate the LR without the TV.
