help with exterior - brick, siding, windows

Hi - I need some help. I am renovating a home - gutting the first floor and adding a second floor addition, and also re-doing the first floor exterior. I've had a really hard time visualizing colors for the new brick, siding, and windows. At first was thinking white brick, white siding, and black windows but after driving around the area and looking at homes like this I didn't like the look.

I also like gray/taupe-y colors and now thinking of grey brick (belden saxony or glen-gery morning dove) on first floor, with pearl gray hardie siding on second floor, and black windows. For windows, decided on Marvin elevate double hung. Would these go together? What color to you suggest for soffit/gutters? Should I consider other colors for the brick/siding? Attached picture of front/back rendering and the brick/siding. Appreciate any advice as I am realizing I am in over my head - thank you!
