asbestos siding & tiles - risk in cottage?

Hello.

I’m currently renting a cottage with my husband and three young kids (4, 8, 11). We've been here a week and have another 10 days left. The owner of the cottage just casually mentioned that there’s asbestos in the siding, as well as in the floor tiles. This is causing me a great deal of anxiety.

The floor tiles are in fine shape. There are a few chips out of one tile, but it’s in a room we don’t use. Some of the outdoor siding tiles are broken.

Are these materials putting my kids at risk as we stay at the cottage? Google reports that it only takes one fiber of airborne asbestos to cause cancer.

There's also very likely peeling lead paint on the windows. But it's outside, nowhere near where the kids play. Are there any risks to this?

I’d greatly appreciate your thoughts as I weigh whether or not we should stay. Thank you.
