This is a total non-issue. The asbestos is well-bound into such materials and any loose asbestos fibers that were exposed due to chipping have long since floated away. Almost all of us grew up with such materials in our homes, our schools, our churches, and our work places, and they are still present in tens of millions of locations. If asbestos-containing vinyl tile and siding posed a risk simply by us being around them, we'd all be dead by now. It's good you are aware of environmental risks, but asbestos-containing materials that are in good shape -- as these seem to be -- and not being disturbed destructively are not a concern. They mainly become a concern when people start ripping and tearing doing remodels. Unless you plan to take a power sander to the floors or the siding in this cottage, this situation poses zero risk. Asbestos-containing materials can be dangerous if improperly disturbed, so I'm not making light of your concern. Unfortunately, the Internet is not your friend in this area because there is a lot of alarmist environmental info out there about asbestos, and you have found just enough to scare yourself. I worked for over 10 years as an environmental regulator in toxic substances and asbestos, so I have a bit more knowledge than most folks do about this, so please trust me and enjoy the rest of your vacation.

Same goes for the paint. Just don't sand it, and don't let your kids gnaw on it.

No risk at all. Longer exposure causes problems and from the sight of it the asbestos if any is not exposed.
