Hello -

Our entire apartment floor is getting the same tile. Every closet, bathrooms, bedrooms, the kitchen etc. I'm being told they can't use the tile in the shower due to the tile's size. That means that the shower floor will have different tile than the rest of the apartment. Surely this will drive me insane.

The tile is 4" x 48". The Shower is 42" x 42".

I hear this can be done, but I need to show an example to prove my point.

Does anybody have a picture of this or know how to do it?

PS: Forgot to mention, tile is being put down in a herringbone pattern.
