The decking is Ipe a tropical hardwood. This decking is FSC certified. It is good match to the redwood siding yet far more durable then redwood decking.

Curious if you treated the Ipe? and if so with an oil or water based product? Beautiful Beautiful home!

Thank you, the deck was cleaned and treated with a conditioning penetrating oil specifically for Ipe and hardwood decking.
