    That is what the homeowner chose. There’s nothing wrong with high quality MDF. Especially if you live where there is a lot of moisture and you are doing a painted finish.

      Thank you for responding. May I ask why wood was chosen over MDF? I am in the process of a kitchen renovation and have to make a decision. Yet it seems most kitchen designers are pushing for MDF. Was the choice to use solid wood a personal choice of the client or was it recommended?
