Landscape ideas needed for small ranch home-front yard

Hi, I'm looking for some landscaping suggestions for my front and side yard. I'd like to take out the bushes on each corner of the house and plant another small tree on the left side of the yard (not sure what type of tree yet). I'd also like to add some window boxes but other than that I'm not sure what else to do.

Deepen the beds front to back and on the left side, I'd swing the bed out at the corner and plant a small tree. Small is the key word here. We don't know where you are, but in my zone it might be a Viburnum prunifolium, Red Bud, or Serviceberry. Low plantings would connect it to the house.

A redbud would be pretty, obviously far enough away from your neighbors power lines.

A redbud would be Gorgeous!! I'm adding that to my list. I need to fill in the beds some. My husband planted a couple more azaleas but they didn't make it.
