Anyone have a great shortbread recipe to share?

I just bought a Nordic Ware shortbread pan but am not interested in trying out the accompanying recipe which calls out for confectioners sugar. Past experience has taught me that recipes using this sugar do not give the density and butteriness which I prefer for my shortbread. My husband is a big fan of Walker’s shortbread, which I would like to duplicate as closely as possible.. If you have a recipe which produces a dense and buttery flavored shortbread and also leaves a very good imprint from a pan, I am hoping that you can share that with all of us.. Thank you.
