I’m trying to decide if I should install a plumbed Miele Steam oven under the countertop. I have read this can be problematic with steam puffing out into my face or expelled into the cabinets. I was going to set this in an island away from my double oven (thinking Thermador double convection with side opening doors.)

My other thought is to install a Thermador steam oven (but it doesn’t come with a plumbed-in option and not sure if I can get a side opening one) on top of Thermador convection oven as a double oven and add the other convection oven under the counter where the steam oven would have gone.

Anyone have any experience with a steam oven under a counter?
