I definitely understand what you are saying- quartzite (and other countertops) can look dingy or almost cement-like when paired with white cabinets. You definitely have to carefully match all the components of your design to avoid that problem. However, one of my projects was this exact pairing- Swiss Coffee cabinets with quartzite.
