Denny Mclain at the Hammond Organ. Aside from his keyboard skills,

in 1968 Mclain, as starting pitcher for the Detroit Tigers won 30 games.

The last major league pitcher to do so.

More Bond. We could do a whole FNM just on Bond tunes!

Here's a cool version of The Good, The Bad, and The Ugly in a live performance that I came upon awhile ago. Pay attention to the video, there are some cool elements to see.

Hey eltonjohndenver, have you read Elton John's autobiography "Me"? I did and couldn't have enjoyed it more. He offers wonderful insights to his own life and personality. He's a one of a kind talent and a very special person who seems to sincerely care about others.

    Tommy - The Who

Tina Turner was my favorite in this movie

    Elton John was okay too.

Elmer, you've obviously never had Elton John as a client - he was one of the worst I've ever had.

"Elmer, you've obviously never had Elton John as a client - he was one of the worst I've ever had."

What services did you provide to him? He did suggest he'd been more difficult to others, more of a diva and an a- _ _ _ _ , before eliminating drugs and drinking from his life than afterwards. Is this untrue? Did you interact directly with him during or after the period he so described?

A cool bit of trivial for the MASH theme, Suicide is Painless, that I learned from Wiki a few years ago. The film's director, Robert Altman, tried to write a lyric to go with the Johnny Mandel music but got stuck. He asked his teenage son to give it a crack and he came up with something in less than 10 minutes. The second interesting tidbit about this is that his son made more money from his share of the writing royalties from use and sales than Dad made from directing the movie.
