Yikes!

I solved Semantle #119 in 89 guesses. My first guess had a similarity of 6.83. My first word in the top 1000 was at guess #15. My penultimate guess had a similarity of 57.73 (995/1000). https://semantle.com/

I solved Semantle #120 in 34 guesses. My first guess had a similarity of 2.14. My first word in the top 1000 was at guess #19. My penultimate guess had a similarity of 30.36. https://semantle.com/

I tried it....not even close. The hint was nonexpert....the answer was uncomplicated. How are those two words related? I guess I don't understand how to cross from the hint to the word they're looking for if unrelated...?

I've tried it three times now. I don't understand what the numbers in the middle column mean, larger number means closer? Or farther in similarity. Probably more than my poor ol' worn out brain can comprehend.

I don't have the patience and I pressed hint and got Celling - is that even a word?

My wife was hooked for a few days but has come to giving up quickly now. We don’t get the rhyme or reason in many cases. Angry can be blazing hot and mad ice cold. and then the word is chlorine. Who knows.
