Ravenswood oak, or should I choose a different floor?

I love the Ravenswood oak and I thought I had the perfect floor until my husband got involved. The cabinets are a done deal. The quartz in the background is what I want (but haven’t ordered yet) for the counter tops and the backsplash. The Ravenswood will be throughout the home. Opinions? Anyone have Ravenswood, and would like to share pictures so I can convince my husband? Or is he right?

I think the combination looks good but I would not do the backsplash. I think it is too dramatic and will lose its impact. Use it on the counters and let them be the star.

Go with Ravenswood. You won't regret it. You can see some beautiful Ravenswood flooring on instagram searching hagtags #ravenswoodoak #coretecravenswoodoak. I agree with Sherry that backsplash is a no. Too dramatic. It will not age well.

It’s holding up beautifully. I have a dog and two cats. Water spills and claws running around the house with zero effect on the flooring.

Sorry I don’t remember what my contractor used specifically. My stair railings were originally red oak and it they had to get the red/pink tone out I believe by going with a weathered oak with gray undertone stain then followed by bona traffic hd waterborne wood extra matte floor finish.
