If I had purchased the condo and planned to live there for many years, I would be ripping out any floor to ceiling mirrors! Better to do a project right the first time, than spend any time and money with temporary fixes.

What about wallpaper? Do an internet search on it. I also saw the suggestion of fabric, that I would be afraid light would catch the mirror reflection.

I have a similarly huge mirror, and had planned a long bookcase with an open, airy style. My idea was to decorate it minimally and let the mirror shine through.

These are modular so you'd work with the vendor to get just the right parts to fit your space.

Or, depending on the size of the mirror, you might luck out and find 2-3 prefab bookcases that altogether equal the width of the mirror perfectly.

Giant open bookcase is a good idea—but if you own the place, plan to stay, and don’t like thr mirror, why not rip it out?

Yes, that is absolutely an option! but it doesn't hurt to wait. I was absolutely convinced we'd rip ours out. But the longer we lived with it, the more it grew on us. Now I'm so glad I didn't!

(we never did put in the bookcases like I suggested though, we just live with the mirror and love it.)
