Lovely room! The art work over the sofa is all wrong though its tall, off center and fighting the slop, get something horizonal there so the eye isnt so focused on all those things. I would say go semi flush or flush as its in the center of the room and in a walking path it might be cumbersome to go chandelier here. I cant see the length of the fixture you have now, just the bulb so it might help to post a pic. from further back.
