Does anyone have the Kohler under mount self trimming farmhouse sink-pictured here
Do you like it? Is it too shallow?
Does it fit nicely and doesn’t look like a fake farmhouse sink?

Any insight would be great?

What the new look white or stainless for farmhouse sinks?

Full disclosure, I do not own a farmhouse sink, so I have no first hand knowledge.

The sink you are asking about has a depth of 9". The Self-Trimming front works well, and doesn't look fake if installed correctly. You will need a farm sink cabinet to accommodate this sink since the front apron drops lower than the height of the doors on a standard sink base. You'll usually want to install this sink into a 30" sink base cabinet, that way a 1/8" margin is left on each side of the sink to the edge of the cabinet. However, some have installed this sink in wider sink bases--you're just going to have to decide what "look" you prefer with your style of cabinetry. It's a heavy sink, so make sure to strap it in well.

From Kohler's website: IMPORTANT! The distance from the top edge of the cabinet to the top of the cabinet door must be at least 9" (229 mm) to install this sink.

No, she just needs to get theshort apron model. No special sink base cabinet necessary and the bowl is the same depth.

Yes, I have to give our kitchen cabinet company the specs of the sink so they can build the cabinet accordingly

You're right @Joseph Corlett, LLC, the OP was asking about the taller apron, so I didn't bother to look up whether or not Kohler offered a short apron option in the 30" size.

I have the 30 inch Whitehaven and love it. Plenty deep and wide enough for me. I got the bottom sink racks after a small scratch on bottom of sink. I wash the racks on the top shelf of my dishwasher almost every time I run the dishwasher.

Anyone that has the whitehaven sink is the front smooth or does it have a little bumpiness to it, like texture sort off?? Trying to see if something is wrong with mine or it’s supposed to be that way?

The front of the Whitehaven sink is not smooth; it's "bumpy" on purpose. It's weird that the texture is not mentioned in any Kohler PR - I saw the sink in person so I was not surprised, in fact, it's one of the reasons I chose that model! I don't think it's especially noticeable from a distance.
