Bull nose, bathroom countertop

The bathroom vanities are bullnose in the front. One side of the counter, but against the wall. The backsplash that was delivered is just a straight backsplash and runs right to the edge of the countertop over the bullnose section. It looks silly. Should I have them remove it? Any suggestions thank you.

The splash should stop at the top of the edge profile, not overhang it.

I never put backspalsh on the sides for startrs and we need pics to be able to answer properly . Post here in a comment DO NOT start another post.
