Honed/matte quartz countertops

I read some reviews on honed quartz counter tops but the reviews are from quite some time ago. Wondering if anyone has had honed quartz countertops for quite a long time and how they have held up. I'm having a hard time deciding between polished and honed. Thanks in advance.

Honed estone isn't the same as honed natural stone. Not by a mile. It's sand and glue when it isn't polished.

IMO honing makes the poores more oen to staining and I hate quartz at the best of times and honed IMO just bad. Even honed real stone absorbs grease and some stains .

Many negative reviews on Houzz regarding honed quartz: staining, looks dirty, inability to keep it clean. I have polished Silestone quartz countertops in my kitchen. I love them, no issues and they look fabulous.
