counter tops and window

This is a lovely house.... very nice reno!!
We have been doing a whole house reno for about 5 years now and we're now working on the kitchen.
I have a few questions if you would be so kind to answer.......
1) Could you share the type and color of these soapstone counter tops?
2) The window above the sink... is that one large awning window? If so, who is the manufacturer of it?

Soapstone only comes in one color, black. This stone is from vermont i believe, installed by Hummingbird Soapstone of Glen Ellyn Illinois. You can read more about soapstone on their website. The window is a Marvin venting picture window, you can find more information on this type on marvins website.

I was not aware that soapstone only came in black. That's good because that is the color that I want :)
I just looked at the videos from Hummingbird and Marvin .... very informative, thanks again! :)
