Hello houzz!

We recently purchased a lake house with another family and would like to add another master suite (bedroom and ensuite) and bathroom. We have sketched up some ideas, but would love to hear yours!

Notes about the reno and usage to assist:
- The current main bathroom, servicing three guest rooms, will turn into a hallway for access to the second master suite.
- owners: two families of four (young children)
- vacation property at water ski lake (lake front at back out house)
- back of house faces east and run parallel to the lake (about 30' to shore)
- we host a lot of guests, many who also have families
- want to update the home's look and feel to modern/warm industrial/contemporary
- while we don't love the look, we would like to echo the bay window style patio doors of the the current master suite
- not big fans of the current master suite and open to moving the doorway to the close area so the master bed can face the lake. open to suggestions here too
- thinking of going with a shower only in the main bath. are we crazy to not have a tub?
- double sinks in the main and master bath
- keep toilet area in the main and master bath private
- mid range to modest budget, will DIY a lot of the work
