Great wall unit!

I'm assuming it's a custom wall unit, but if it isn't,could you tell me where it is from/who designed it? Also, can you describe the mirrored part to me (obscured by the chair on the right...)? is it a mirror that has shutters over the bottom half, and is there a seat/shelf on the bottom?

yes, the wall unit was custom....the previous owners had them built. Over the window seat is an antique window (the great old wavy glass) original to the house from the 1800's. This window used to face the front porch and part of this old porch was turned into a Study.
