You don't have enough wall space on the sides to put a curtain and have it pushed completely out of the way when you're doing the laundry. Maybe you just need a different type of bifold door that you like better. Or paint your bifold doors the same color as your wall so it blends in. You don't have many options with that wall.

IMO bifolds are better than a curtain that looks like you couldn’t afford doors.Paint the doors the same as the walls and move on.

Looks like you have enough room on the right for a barn door.

It doesn't look like you have room to push a curtain to the side.

I'd also nix the curtain because it isn't a very good sound barrier. I'd go back to the bifold, do a standard door if you have the room for it, or look into a retractable door like mentioned above.

Patricia Colwell Consulting, I sure hope you don’t tell your clients to “move on”. The bifold doors are annoying, so we were looking for other options. I love the idea of retractable doors and will “move on” to that.
