Artistic Stairs Ltd.

Artistic Stairs made and installed our interior spiral metal stairs. It was a disaster from the beginning. After months of waiting for them to manufacture, they arrived to our house in December 2022 with the made stairs to install. They forced the big metal stairs through our back door, completely damaging not only the new stairs but the door jambs as well. Once in the room, they found out that they mis-measured 5 months prior, and the spiral will not fit but they attempted to install anyway. In process, they burnt our brand new hardwood floor while welding without fire blankets and deposited black spray paint on our fresh walls. So after many hours of making incredible mess, out the spiral went because it would not fit. So that meant to cut it in 3 sections ( all indoors ) and drag it out. Few months forward, May 2023, they attempted again. They came to install….again. Unfortunately they modified this aluminum product too many times and we ended up with 3 different sheens of paint and brush strokes, even though we paid for nice powder coating. The welds are absolutely terrible and unbelievably messy and sloppy, and some posts don’t even fit onto the treads. Some details were missed altogether like they truly couldn’t care less!!! The spiral itself is not levelled and it’s tipping backwards so you can lose your balance stepping onto the first top tread. Organizational skills and project managing professionalism is extremely low. The high quality of craftsmanship, knowledge and attention to detail is definitely NOT there with this company. They should not be “selling” metal spirals because they can’t execute above the level of “less than average”. Their motto “On time every time Done right the first time” is a plain selling tactic and a straight up lie because the reality is, they can get TWO tries and still drastically under deliver !! I would really want to see the Artistic Stairs and Railings executives putting this sloppy, clunky and poorly made staircase into their homes. On their website, I read all about the company’s pride of the product they make…..are their standards that low then??? I have worked with Keith Murray at Artistic Stairs a number of times over the years, he is a consistent professional and always make sure the jobs get done right for his clients. I would not hesitate to recommend him and Artistic for anyone looking for customs stairs and rails.

I am extremely pleased with the railing installed by Artistic Stairs in my new home. Both the sales person (Greg) and the installer (Chris) were fantastic to work with. My project was somewhat complicated but they were both very patient with the long process. The railing is truly a masterpiece and has added much appeal and beauty to my home. I would highly recommend Artistic Stairs without hesitation.
