Creative Garden Designs has been serving residents of the Greater Toronto Area since 1992. We design garden projects both large and small and have expertise in a range of landscape styles. From modern-eclectic to classic-formal to traditional English gardens – we do it all! Our customers benefit from our full service capabilities which include consultation, design and project coordination in preparation for installation. Creative Garden Designs structures design services around two ideals that, we believe, define a unique and meaningful service: we listen and we care about the environment. The garden design that is right for you is defined by your lifestyle and personality. We start by learning about you so that the garden we ultimately create is truly customized to your unique style and preferences. Our approach to design ensures that the final product is not only customized to your needs, but also adheres to sound environmental principles that support local flora and fauna, natural drainage systems and conservation practices.

I enthusiastically recommend Janet from Creative Garden Designs for your landscaping design project! I found Janet to be extremely talented, professional and practical. Prior to meeting Janet I was overwhelmed and didn't know where to start with my landscaping and exterior house colours. She was able to take my thoughts and ideas and turn them into a realistic vision and plan for my home. Janet has saved me so much time and money as I was able to narrow my focus based on her recommendations. Thanks Janet, you're awesome!

We hired Janet to do a makeover of our good size backyard in Toronto. We found Janet very easy to work. We had certain ideas about what we wanted and went through a couple of iterations during the design phase and landed on something that we are still enjoying. She took into consideration our budget, the natural aspects of the backyard (shade, drainage) and the reuse of certain plants we had. We found Janet to be knowledgeable and responsive. I would work with her again.

In the fall of 2016 we decided to renovate our backyard garden. We had an idea of what we wanted and needed some help with the design and construction. After asking around we were referred to Janet from Creative Garden Design Inc..We met and discussed our ideas with her and she provided excellent feedback and her own creative ideas and suggestions. She was very professional and knowledgeable. Janet paid attention to details and went above and beyond to include much of what we talked about. We loved her ideas and decided to move forward with her design and her preferred contractor. In the spring of 2017 the job was done to our great satisfaction and delight. The entire team was very professional and worked diligently to complete the job in a timely manner. It was wonderful and very pleasing to see the design come to life. We had excellent follow up after the job was completed. Janet was always quick to respond to our questions or concerns. We highly recommend Creative Garden Designs

Creative Garden Designs was an exceptional choice for the design for the front of our house. They are very thorough and pay strict attention to detail and what we wanted, carefully keeping within our budget! They are very knowledgeable in helping to choose the right type of plant material and accent features to enhance the design. We were very pleased with them and have recommended them to many friends who also have plans for their upcoming projects! They are definitely a 5 star company in our opinion!!

I just wanted to say it was a pleasure working with Janet and her team this past summer. They were on-time, professional and easy to get a hold-of when we needed last minute design changes. Our company worked with Creative Garden Designs on two separate projects so far and I would say we would love to work with them again this coming spring/summer 2018! What a lovely experience working with Janet. We’re redid the entire front and back yards completely using her designs and management skills for these projects. This included enlarging the patio from a paltry 75SF to about 800SF with dining and lounging areas with an integral stone design. Good enough to be featured in the Banas Stone catalogue! Janet was always available when we needed her advice.

Creative Landscape Designs has worked on two projects on my property, dramatically improving both. We would meet to discuss the project, talk about the drawing of the proposal and edit as needed. I thought that the landscape architect truly “got” my vision. Our conversations were always both cordial and professional.
