a+b kasha Traditional Living Room, Paris

This exquisite three-bedroom apartment has gracious proportions and lovely original architectural details. It occupies the third floor of a classic 19th century building on rue de Lille, just off rue de Bellechasse. It has been luxuriously finished, including a large, sumptuous master bathroom and a fully-appointed traditional kitchen. And the best surprise…from the windows of the living room and all three bedrooms are sweeping views of the Seine and beyond!
Large elegant formal and enclosed medium tone wood floor living room photo in Paris with white walls, a standard fireplace, a stone fireplace and no tv — Houzz

This is a simple sisal carpet with a cotton border. This was purchased locally (in Paris) at a store which specializes in all kinds of sisal. There are probably stores near you that carry the same kind of carpet. Try the internet to find them.

Set up a writing spot. Yoga and meditation not really your thing? Perhaps a serene spot where you can sit with your journal and write is more up your alley. A comfortable sofa with plump cushions near a window with a view would be ideal. Find a blank book and pens you love, and store them near your favorite chair so they are ready whenever the mood strikes.
