This kitchen, previously dark and dated, is now light and bright. The refrigerator was relocated from the right of the stove to a little used kitchen desk area, creating a better work flow throughout the kitchen. Additional cabinets were custom made to match the existing cabinetry and painted a soft white. The dark granite countertops were replaced with white quartzite, the backsplash was updated with white subway tile and a new gas top stove and refrigerator were installed. The walls were painted a soft blue and new furniture, accessories and brass fixtures complete the updated, transitional look. Interior Design by Dawn Gall
