This was originally a white washed red oak TV unit. The centre section had pocket doors with a pull out swivel unit for the TV. We removed that and turned one of the centre doors into a pull dow below the sink for easy access to the plumbing. Installed a granite counter top with an undermount bar sink and microwave shelf on top. Above the granite is mirror. Where speakers were on the left we installed a wine fridge with wine glass storage on top. Where the cd's and tapes were stored on the right is room for a coffee maker, mugs, etc. Added fillers and crown to take it to the ceiling and deeper base so it looks built in. Great because it didn't end up as landfill and gives us a place to make popcorn and drinks when we are downstairs working or just enjoying the TV and Fireplace
