Contact 8 D.A.Y.S. BY DENO DESIGN
Thank you Geoff for leaving your review for 8 D.A.Y.S. Design as this gives us an excellent opportunity to address and educate.
INFLATABLE MATTRESSES:
1. Using an inflatable mattress set is a staging industry standard for MANY reasons:
A. Using real mattresses is labor intensive
B. NOT labor (cost) efficient
C. cumbersome
D. and can be a liability when staging a multi level home (which yours was).
E. The cost to store NUMEROUS box spring & mattresses is extremely expensive when compared to the actual square footage real sets take up vs. inflatable sets.
2. Even though we placed very appropriate signage on your Master bed stating,
" Though it may be tempting...
PLEASE DO NOT JUMP ON, SIT ON or LEAN ON bed as it is for display ONLY."
during the time of your 60 day plus stage, (as your home unfortunately fell out of escrow), we had to replace two sets.
For whatever reasons, potential buyers viewing your home indeed jumped on, sat on or leaned on the bed, causing TWO sets of puncture holes.
In fact, one of our replacement appointments was scheduled while you were present in your home. You never once asked us about this industry procedure nor voiced any concerns.
3. DINING ROOM:
We've attached a photo of our dining room furniture selection. You had two listing agents representing your market home. One was present during the entire staging process and had nothing but positive things to say - she was lovely. The other agent came in at the end of the process and she stated the house looked cozy and the Master was staged beautifully. She did request a more modern dining room rug and table revision, which we completely fulfilled, no problem, as we're very open to opinions as they present themselves and know working as a TEAM is the priority when preparing homes for market.
Now, between your two agents, they had different opinions on the chairs - one loved them, (as they were already very modern) the other was disagreeing with her. In the end, we agreed with your first agent, as we both felt they worked perfectly and it was unnecessary to change them.
As rental pieces, we assure you they were clean, without damage and 100% presentable. They fit perfectly in our modern design to your beautiful modern home.
(See attached photo) PLEASE NOTE: actual table revision was a round glass top.
The lesson here, we feel is to make sure COMMUNICATION between client and stager is 100% present. IF there is ever any concerns or questions, PLEASE home owners, ask questions or voice them immediately to your stager instead of waiting until the entire staging process is over and you choose to vent a negative, one sided point of view.
