The workmanship was excellent and each of the three crew members were respectful of our property and willing to answer questions. Although the project had a few challenges, Dan took care of them and delivered a beautiful deck we will enjoy for many years to come.

Our screened in porch is well built and beautiful. Working with Steve and the Archadeck crew was a great experience. Steve provided valuable advice on how to design the porch to blend into a 20 year old house and established yard, and to select long lasting and low maintenance materials. He stuck to the construction time table and kept us informed along the way. Steve and Archadeck have established a high standard that few in the construction industry can match.

Steve and crew were very responsive to our process and product questions before and during the building process. We are confident that the covered porch and grilling deck were built with the best possible materials and workmanship. The crew was respectful of our property and professional, and daily cleanup was impeccable.

Steve and his team did a wonderful job. We had a large deck built, which had some fairly unique and complicated features. My husband and I were very impressed with the professionalism and skill of Archadeck's carpenters. Steve also helped us coordinate with a company that provided landscaping and stone paving. The coordination between these teams was key to the project, and it turned out to be a seamless success. My husband and I highly recommend Archadeck.

Archadeck built two new decks to replace our existing versions. All aspects of our experience with Archadeck were positive. We were particularly impressed with their customer service, communication and quality of construction. The construction crew was on time, tidy and professional. The entire project was completed in just five days. Attention to detail was evident at every stage of the process and we would not hesitate to use this company again.

Archadeck took our deck and screened in porch dreams and made them reality. We had a design in mind that they could sketch out and then build. Can't tell you how many people have told us that it looks like the porch was built with the house as the looks and roof lines are seamless with the house. Steve with Archadeck is a man of his word - he does what he says he will do when he says he will do it. He keeps excellent tabs with the homeowner and the crew with frequent calls and on-site visits. He made it easy for us to do business with. Thomas is the second part of the excellence of this company. He ran his crew well, made sure everything was put away neatly each night, answered all my questions. He took the drawings and made them real, in spite of a difficult roof line to tie into. We had good experience with all of the additional contractors that Steve recommended, with the exception of the painting company that made finishing our ipe deck a bit of a disaster. What I would rather have had was Archadeck to be the general contractor of all the work that needs to be done, rather than me. I'd recommend (and have) this company to anyone who is considering a deck and or porch.

Steve Folsom is quite simply the best contractor with whom we have ever worked. During the bid process, he was always on time, responsive to follow-up questions, and thorough in his explanations. His prices were not the lowest, but they were in the ballpark of other quotes we got and we were so much more comfortable dealing with him than the other contractors we met that it was really a no-brainer to pay a little more for quality. ;We are so glad we made that decision. Steve and his team actually started and completed the job earlier than scheduled - that's right, I said earlier. His team was highly professional, and they all were just very nice people we were happy to have at our house. If you are looking into building a deck, covered patio, or screened-in porch, we have two pieces of advice after going through the process. First, it's a lot more expensive than you're probably thinking it will be. It took us a while to understand this and reconcile it by getting several bids. That ended up being wasted time - we wish we would have just gone with Archadeck from the start and had another month to enjoy our new outdoor space. Second, go with Archadeck and you will never regret it. Steve is friendly and honest with an unparalleled attention to detail that was very much appreciated. We wish we could use him for every project at our house!

We worked with Steve/Archadeck to design our dream screened-in-porch. While we had lots of questions and were unsure of exactly how to do things, Steve put us at ease with his outstanding knowledge of the process and options for our construction project. His crew was extremely professional and produced a top notch result. Steve Folsom, owner of Archadeck, was the best contractor I have ever dealt with. He is honest, upfront, and extremely knowledgeable about his business. He worked with our homeowners association and the city to assure all requirements were met. His 3 employees were respectful, hard working, efficient, and also knew exactly what they were doing. They removed a current deck and added a screened in porch., dimensions of 16'/29'. The roof line on the back of the house had to be reconfigured. The finished product was better than we envisioned. Steve has brought over multiple people to view our porch and they too have had work done by him. I just can't say enough about Steve and his quality of work!! We are certainly ready for spring to get back outside!
