Wagner Concrete Construction

Wagner Concrete Construction was employed to perform concrete work on July 26th 2018. The work was to include the following… •remove the asphalt driveway and to replace with concrete •repair and replace sidewalk from driveway to front door and front porch •replace a 15x12 brick patio with stamped concrete to match the color of my bricks of my house •add matching trex facia at the bottom of the back deck Now I am left with a driveway that is a total wreck, in pieces and unstable to walk on. I am left with no front porch and no steps to enter into my house. The back patio was to match my bricks…instead, I have a burgundy colored patio, that was supposed to be stamped…now I have a white powdered, burgundy, over stamped MESS!!! To add to my dismay… I also have a patio slopping down to the foundation. And to top it off… when I brought it to his attention…he had to chisel cement out of my dryer vent. I finally had to advise him (after 4-5 witnesses that viewed the mess he made) to remove the patio. He then jackhammered ¾ of the patio and left me with crumbled concrete, crumbled half steps. and refuses to remove the debris. After seeing the mess he made in the back patio and all the landscaping torn up (burying my air conditioner wires) and (exposing all my landscape lights wires that WERE buried in the grass) … I had enough… I advised him he was FINISHED and did not want him to complete my front area. He promised that he would return and clean EVERYTHING up. BUT, of course, NEVER RETURNED!!!!!! And most upsetting to me was… the unprofessional and belligerent response when I confronted him with the truth! SAVE YOURSELF the anxiety and expense… being left with finding another contractor… DON’T HIRE Wagner Concrete Construction (Richeyville, PA)

Our original contractor backed out last minute. The Wagner team responded quickly to our lat minute request as we were concerned the project would not be completed by the winter. The team completed the project in as timely and professional manner as possible, given the weather. The project included a driveway, walkways and 2 porches. Well done!

Read before you hire! We have hired this contractor to do a retaining wall in our driveway and after day 7 of him "finishing" the job the wall started to tilt. He didn't use any anchor nor he used the size of wood beams he said he was going to use and all this we didn't know until after we paid him. He also damaged our lawn and broke our garage door and window with the bobcat he used. He used unprofessional, threatening and disrespectful communication after we tried to bring him back to fix the damages and didn't want to use the warranty. Based on our experience he did a very bad quality job and you need to watch out for this.
