About Us

John G. Bogaert and his father founded Bogaert Construction Co., Inc. of Essex, CT in 1983. Currently, the company is owned and operated by John and his partner, Bruce Lawrence. Our work is in residential remodeling, renovations, new construction, and light commercial in the towns of the lower Connecticut River Valley. John Bogaert has had 25 years of experience in the construction business. Bruce Lawrence joined the company in 1988. In the early 1990's, Bruce and John became partners. John is responsible for the sales and administration of the company, while Bruce serves as the production manager overseeing each project. Our purpose is to offer our customers excellent quality and workmanship, as well as to build a good customer relationship.
