California Closets Fort Lauderdale

They have not followed through and completed their project as promised. I keep asking them to at least finish their contract, but they haven't even though they acknowledge that they still owe us certain items. They still have not delivered some of the shelves that were part of the original contract or the valet hooks, or even finished the mirror. We have contacted them numerous times. Very annoying. There was one change in the design due to an electrical issue and they tried to charge me a fortune more to finish the job...in effect trying to hold me hostage. Very bad business and I am about to sue them.

My husband and I used California Closets when we lived in Chicago and had nothing but positive things to say about that experience. So we called the local franchise when we decided to get our walk-in closet here in Florida done. It's a decent closet, but when they converted the building to condos, they just put in those stupid wire rack shelves - and very few of them - meaning that we were left with a ton of wasted space. Sales guy Roger came by with his trusty laptop and material samples, and we had our design nailed down in an hour. Roger clearly knows his stuff - plus who doesn't love a nice Boston accent? Danny showed up right on time this past Monday and did a fantastic job. We could not be more pleased. Who knew we could fit so much stuff in there?? One additional note: Both times that we worked with CC, we were impressed by the fact that once we made it explicit that we were just looking to make better use of the space but didn't need all the bells and whistles (you know, solid wood shelving, drawers with fancy pulls, etc.), the sales person didn't push at *all* to get us to upgrade. Very much appreciated, CC!

The entire team at California Closets has been wonderful. Kerri C. - designer extraordinaire- started with our project last year, designing his and her closets for our new home. Once construction was nearly completed, she came out, measured , designed , tweaked and perfected the designs. A few weeks later the installation team came..they were punctual, courteous, efficient and professional. A couple of weeks later, I realized we needed more space and designs for built-in bookshelves in our office. Again, Kerri to the rescue!! She has designed a wall sized wardrobe for our master as well as wonderful built-in bookshelves for our office (not to mention a little extra shelving and storage ideas for the laundry room) I highly recommend this company to anyone who is considering storage ideas/cabinetry.

I was hired to create the new kitchen, pantry closet and office area for the new customer's apartment. I asked Lori Hoyt from California Closets Fort Lauderdale, to help me with the Thermofoil cabinetry. With their experience providing a great service with closets and, my many years into the kitchen business, with many jobs completed throughout South Florida, we performed the job accordingly to the contract. The picture shows the pantry created to accommodate the supplies for both the family and their dog. The divisions and the inserts used, transformed the small space achieving the client's goal. I just love my new California Closets. I have so much room now than i had before that i still have open space available. The installation was done very professional, the design is just what i wanted. I highly recommend them. The quality of the product and service was worth it. It has also encouraged me to keep the closet organized. I also love the hangers.
