Cathy Barkley is respectful, thoughtful and creative. She respected our (limited) budget; she worked well with our existing furniture and furnishings. She listened to our ideas and responded creatively and within bounds. Cathy decorated our living room (drapes, furniture and picture placement, lighting, recovering chairs) and dining room (recovered chairs and drapes). The ancillary vendors she worked with were excellent as well -- prompt, friendly and well skilled.

Cathy helped me choose the perfect paint color and gave me invaluable advice for updating our home that we have on the market. I love her sense of style and how easy she is to work with. I highly recommend her to my clients, as well.

We started by remodeling our kitchen. Cathy's ideas for our kitchen were perfect, so we retained her to design a bathroom, then two more bathrooms, then a bonus room and finally a laundry room. After the first wonderful experience we never considered going it alone or choosing someone else. Cathy has excellent taste and is very careful to make sure that choices fit her clients' personal style. She is creative and has an inviting personality that makes working with her a pleasure. Cathy receives our highest recommendation with no reservations. Our extimated project cost is the full cost for all remodeling projects described above (kitchen, three baths, bonus room and laundry room). Cathy charges by the hour and was very reasonable in her rates and billing.

Working with Cathy has been a pleasure! She has helped me decorate 2 homes and has done an outstanding job of listening to my ideas and making them better. She has a great sense of what I like so we get things done quickly. She also sees to the installation and any work that needs to be done. All and all a true professional and a delight to work with.
