Foothill Tree Service is a cut above (no pun intended) any other similar service I have used. From the initial knowledgeable evaluation and fair estimate provided by Dave, to the timely and skillful work of the crew under the direction of Trevor, I commend the exemplary professionalism and work ethic which obviously makes up the fabric of this business.

January 18th my neighbor's tree blew over in a storm, hit her house, then rolled and hit mine. The tree was laying on both houses. A crew of 3 men from Foothill Tree Service plus a crane operator with a 75 ton capacity crane came out and got the tree off both houses with no further damage to the houses and no damage to the fence under the fallen tree. They were amazing, very competent and professional. They also cut up the large branches and trunk into firewood for me, which I was hauling into the back yard while they were handling the tree. Near the end, one of the guys had nothing to do so he grabbed my wheelbarrow when I wasn't looking, loaded it with large chunks of the tree's trunk, hauled it into the backyard and dumped it in exactly the right place. He hauled 3 or 4 loads, saving me a good piece of work at the end of the day. Great bunch of guys. Oh yeah, they also tarped the damaged part of our house to keep out the rain that's expected to fall in a couple days. Also, before the work started, the crew's supervisor pushed hard to get a crew and a crane here to get the job done before it rained. Foothill Tree Service provides outstanding service and because of this, we just employed them a third time for serious work with oak trees on our residential property. The most recent project involved the removal of a very old and tall oak tree that might have fallen and caused severe damage to the roof. At this time they also removed dead and potentially dangerous limbs from two other trees next to the house and over the roof area. Previous projects involved similar tasks including dead wood thinning, removal of mistletoe and the trimming of branches to help relieve the stress on older trees affected by the drought or decay. With any tree removal, the crew cuts the trunk and larger limbs into manageable 16 or 18 inch size logs. The smaller limbs and branches are chipped and placed at a location of our request. Previous to any work done, a Certified Arborist comes out to the property to evaluate every aspect involved with the project and to assess the cost of the project. We are very impressed not only with the knowledge of their Certified Arborists but also with that of their excellent tree crews. They are prompt, hard-working, efficient, thorough, absolutely responsible and very congenial. Their tree climbing Specialists are amazing at what tasks they can perform as well as those done by the rest of the supporting crew. Foothill Tree Service will always be our first choice for anything related to tree care on our property. We are fortunate to have this wonderful service available to us in this area.

I had a very small chipping project funded by a state wildfire prevention program, so in a way I wasn't directly their customer. What is noteworthy however, is that they communicated well, showed up early, courteously accommodated my requests, just as if I were a paying customer. Always impressive when a business goes out of their way for someone they don't have to try to impress

Last spring I noticed by prized and cherished willow tree was in distress, and really had no idea what to do for it. I called Foothill Tree Service, after having them recommended by several people. They made quick and easy (for me!)work of helping my tree. Today it is thriving! I could not be happier, and have since hired them again for other trees that needed help.
