Ad Hoc Home

We have worked with Cleland of Counterpoint Cabinetry on a couple of projects, a build in bench, a kitchen island, a dining room built in bar and are now working with him to build a custom vanity for a client's master bathroom. Cleland's work is beautiful and we have been very happy with the quality, customer service and communication and level of professionalism. We would highly recommend Counterpoint Cabinetry and look forward to working together on more projects.

Steven Waszak

I hired Cleland (Counterpoint Cabinetry) to fabricate some moldings matching the original woodwork in our 1930 Bungalow. This was the 3rd time I hired him specifically for making molding and will continue to use him until we complete our restoration. I would highly recommend Cleland. Awesome quality.

I work photographing mainly kitchens and baths. I've seen it all. Great designs and great cabinetry. Then I photographed Cleland's work! I was so impressed with his choice of cabinet style and countertop thickness and when he told me he's the one that made the cabinets, I was even more impressed! Guess I haven't seen it all. His work is impeccable and I'd recommend his cabinetry to any designer or architect looking for an independent cabinet maker with a great flare.

Counterpoint Cabinetry helped us with restoring/refurbishing an antique pharmacy cabinet which was 7'x7'. It was originally built in. Cleland from Counterpoint Cabinetry converted it to a stand alone cabinet matching the original style of the piece. They provided pick-up and delivery services and completed the work in 2 days. The workmanship was really good. This piece will be a center piece in our living room. I would highly recommend Cleland and Counterpoint Cabinetry.

Cleland did a great job with our basement project. The quality of the cabinetry he built and installed was incredible and it flowed seemlessly with the rest of our home. He was very creative with the process and came up with a perfect plan to fit our space. We had such a great expierence with the staff from start to finish -- they did a fantastic job! Looking forward to working with them again.

We had them design and install a custom office. They were very thoughtful in the design process to make sure our family would find the space very useful with additional details we would not have though about. The installation process was smooth and well executed, and the finish quality was terrific. The workmen took pride in the finished product. Our family is now using the office more than ever, and we couldn't be happier with how the space looks.

We hired Counterpoint Cabinetry to build custom made desks, book shelves and cabinets for our office. Not only did Cleeland deliver a high end, high quality project - he also helped us optimize the space and integrated excellent design idea. We can highly recommend CounterPoint Cabinetry and are in fact thinking about hiring them again for our kitchen project.

Commented: What is the size of this room?HI, Thanks for inquiring. The back window wall is 111" and the 2 desk areas come out 84". It was a converted 1 car garage so it is considerably deeper than you can tell from this photo.
