Daina Ferguson

Daina Ferguson was born in San Diego, California and she has worked throughout her career in Southern California. As an emerging sculptor, she works primarily in metals and mixed media. Her professional career began while working in the Los Angeles interior design and special event industries. Ferguson served as lead designer for a studio specializing in museum mounts for antiquities and special event prop creations. Her current body of work is influenced by the years of handling decorative and ritual artifacts from across the world. Recently she exhibited in the 40th Annual Small Image Art Competition at Gallery 21 in the Balboa Park Spanish Village. Her solo exhibition ‘Talismans’ at The Next Door Gallery in San Diego showcased her new series of bronze and mixed media sculpture.
