Kearns & Kang

We have used Kearns & Kang for over twelve years. They have been an outstanding in so many ways from their artistry to their recommendations on space, color, decor and design. We have worked with them on numerous interior renovations in our home; from remodeled bathrooms to full murals in our great room. When we engage with them in the initial consultation, we are always delighted with the multiple ideas and options they bring to the discussion. As you can tell we would and have recommended them to many of our friends and neighbors.

After having a pipe burst in the master bedroom, the foyer directly beneath the bathroom flooded. The foyer was done with a faux finish, which, at first, we wanted repaired. After meeting with some other contractors who didn't seem overly interested in the job, I called Kearns and Kang. They came over a couple of days later and recommended that we use a frottage finish. They were able to pick a perfect color and text and were able to finish the job in only a few days. We LOVE their work. They are not only talented artists, but also very friendly and accessible professionals. Would highly recommend them to anyone looking for a muralist, faux finisher, or any other highly specialized look in your home.

I consulted with Kearns and Kang on the color choices in my house, as well as having some of my furniture painted. I couldn't be more pleased with the result. They were both so experienced and creative and the result has updated my home and made it so much more inviting. I felt like the cost was very reasonable and they completed the project on time. Although my husband and i have always been proud of our historic 19th century baltimore townhome we are absolutely giddy with pride after the home's dramatic transformation at the expert artistic hands of the artisans, kearns & kang. What in retrospect were too dark paint colors & clunky furniture arrangements have been imaginatively reimagined. Mr. Kearns' paint selection ( polar haze) alone has added both visual volume & texture to our enhanced rooms. It was a pleasure to have these artists in our home. They performed their artistry promptly & professionally.

I sub-contracted with Kearns and Kang on a number job sites over the years. I find them the very professional and top in their field for their skill in decorative painting and original design. They treat their clients honestly and respectfully, working closely with them from start to finish. I would certainly work for them again and highly recommend anyone looking to add unique and creative art to their home.

Kearns and Kang are superb artisans with years of experience, both domestically and abroad. They design a practical outline with our wishes and taste and adhere to the plan - startiing and finishing on time as promised, and keeping within budget. They are flexible and easy to get along with, never straying from the original plan., and making only minor changes after consultation.
