Absolutely loved working with JC at J Designs Pool and Spa! They installed a generous-sized pool with a powerful heater and ozone and ultraviolet filtration system at a very reasonable price. Highest possible marks. JC keeps well informed about the continually evolving standards around pools and spas and does a fantastic job of explaining what options are available and what he recommends most. The J Designs installation process was easy, smooth and right on schedule. The final product is exactly what we hoped it would be.

We hired JC on 12/1/18 to design and build our hillside pool. The pool was not completed until 4/14/20. There were many delays, none of which were attributed to us. His sub cut too much of the hillside on 6/26/19 and the city inspector shut us down. It was JC's fault, but he invoiced us twice trying to get us to pay for his mistake. They had to build a retaining wall, and he didn't agree to pay for it until we sought legal advice. He didn't want to get sued. The project didn't start up again until 1/20/20. During this time the wall was put up incorrectly and had to be changed. The coping was put on incorrectly and had to be removed and replaced. Both times JC was not present, just like the hillside mistake. They didn't follow the plans. The pool is not where it's supposed to be. They attached three stairs on one end of the pool to our wooden fence, and then the stairs cracked. He tried to blame it on our neighbor. They repaired it, but it looks horrible. They left about a three-foot drop from the stairs to our back gate. We had to make a list of things for him to fix before we paid the last of the money. Honestly, he just wore us out. We just wanted him gone. The whole project caused us so much stress. We've hired a landscape designer to fix/hide all of their design errors. I could go on and on, but I think you all get the picture.

JC is absolutely amazing and very professional. Incredible attention to details, he remodeled our pool and installed a new salt water system, gave us great design and landscaping ideas . We couldn’t be happier. Great communication also during the construction.

I couldn't have been more pleased with the service. I interviewed several pool contractors and immediately knew upon meeting JC and his team that I had found my gang. JC is evidently an expert, has an orientation towards 'getting it done' without cutting corners or compromising quality. I quoted me a reasonable cost and was a great partner throughout choosing the perfect lay out and materials. I was kept in the loop through a great little app that gave me all the details of the job, the paperwork, and updates on progress. I am very happy with the final result and highly recommend J Designs Pool & Spa to everyone who is looking to get their feet wet this years!
