J. Schoenberger Design

Jennifer Schoenberger is an interior designer, tastemaker and blogger based in Atlanta, Georgia. Born and raised in Michigan, she began her professional life as a Broadcast Journalist after graduating from Michigan State University. She relocated to San Francisco and designed her first apartment in the city, realizing her passion for interiors. From there, it was onto Atlanta, where her life-long passion for design blossomed into a thriving, full-service design business. Since 2008, Jennifer Schoenberger Design has been creating unique and classic dwellings nationwide. Her attention to detail, hard work and creative approach to design quickly garnered her recognition from national publications including Better Homes and Gardens, Southern Living, Atlanta Magazine and more. She is also a member of the esteemed Southern Living Designer Network. A lover of design blogs, she began writing her own in 2010, Vreeland Road, named in honor of her Mother, Lucinda Vreeland Hehl, who passed in 1995. Vreeland Road became the perfect intersection of all her passions in life – writing, inspiring, design, family and a longing to celebrate her Mother’s memory and artistic spirit. Lucinda was a descendant of the Vreeland family, who founded the home town in which Jennifer was raised. “It’s a sweet treat to go home and drive by Vreeland Road. I think about Mom and how much she played a role in my design career. I’m fortunate she and Dad decided to raise us here in the town her family founded. It was a nurturing environment, one I will always cherish. They provided a rock solid and creative foundation for what I do now and I work hard every day to honor her memory.” Jennifer resides in Atlanta with her Husband, two children and rescue pup. In her free time, she enjoys scouring flea markets, antique stores, loves vintage clothes and is forever making improvements and “edits” to her own home.
