I am the president of a condo association. We needed to replace the commercial carpet in the hallways of our 4 buildings. we had had a bad experience with a company that had cleaned the previous carpet. I was familiar with Koko Boodakian mostly for their reputation selling, cleaning and repairing Oriental rugs. They had cleaned and appraised rugs for my family members. They have been in business since 1938. I was not certain if they did commercial installations. When I went to them they were in transition and did not have a collection of commercial books to show me, but they inspired enough confidence that I did my own research online. I described a rug I saw in a restaurant - they talked to their representative and delivered four sample books to my house. Sure enough they nailed it. I went to showrooms with large sample libraries, but got no sales help lugged home heavy stacks of books and had to return them. Koko came to me. They called. They returned calls. They answered questions knowledgeably and their quote was also the most reasonable. My two primary contacts who installed the rugs have been with the company since they were teenagers and they couldn't be nicer or more professional. The project was completed when it was scheduled and skillfully and artfully. The pattern drop on the rug worked beautifully down the stairs. In addition they bound and made individual door mats for the 22 units to keep a unified cohesive appearance in the hallways. I also have the security of knowing that if there are any problems or when the carpet needs to be cleaned. They will be able to do it properly.
