Commented: What type of stone for the pavers, and the stacked stone? The pavers are a Pavestone product called Venetian and the stacked stone was a veneer from Arizona Stone.
in Photo Questions
Commented: Cost? This project cost about $7500 with all the synthetic turf.
in Photo Questions
Commented: does the hole fill up with water when it rains and how does it get away if it does? This was done in Las Vegas. We only have an average of 3.5" of rain per year so it isn't really an issue.

Commented: river bed That is an interesting concept. I am adding it to the vault.

Commented: This is superb! How did you support the walls of the pit? And how deep must the hole be? We supported the walls with a concrete wall. The whole was approximately 4 and 1/2 feet deep. The deeper the whole is the better the bounce will be.
