Lavish Lawn and Landscape

Brian was fantastic. I hired the company to rebuild/create a new front stoop for my home, lay a long walkway that went from the front of my house all the way to the back, and a retaining wall for my garden. Brian was so communicative - every day I would get an email recounting the work that was completed, and what I could expect for the next day. His level of communication is impressive. Most importantly - I am so happy with the work. It looks SO GOOD. Brian is a kind person with integrity and a true professional.

We met with Brian two separate times. The first appointment he was a no call no show. We rescheduled the appointment in the fall and he did show up and went over the plan for a firepit in our backyard. He then informed us it would take until December to get back with an estimate. We patiently waited, a week after the deadline to get back to us, he still had not responded with a quote. I contacted him again and he said he was not ready, stated it would take at least another week and the holidays were approaching. After Christmas and New Years he finally got back to us. The plan was not what we had wanted or discussed, and he did not have a price estimate. He had laid out the patio where we had trees that were not being taken out. We worked with him again to redo the plan. He stated it would take a week to get back to us, again it took two weeks. When I wrote him two separate emails requesting further information he did not respond. I would not hire this company, Brian has proven on multiple times to be unreliable. When customers are planning on spending 10k on a firepit and patio the company should be responsive and pay attention to what was discussed. The wait to January for a quote was unheard of, every other company we contacted was able to get us back a plan and quote within 2 weeks. The only reason why we gave him a second chance after the no call no show was due to a referral from a family member who used him years ago, however his practices have changed.

Brian and his crew rebuilt a retaining wall for us this fall that had been slowly settling because of inadequate drain tiles. They did a great job - were wonderful to have around and did a great job with clean up. We also had them bring in some fresh black dirt and grass seed to cover up some other bare patches in the yard. Brian has done work for us in the past as well that we have been most pleased with. He does beautiful work and has many years of experience with ideas on how to solve landscape issues. We were most happy with Brian and his crew and would highly recommend them for your next project.

Nature's Best Landscapes Inc. did a beautiful job installing a paver walkway/patio and landscaping our front yard. Our neighbors stated it is "absolutely stunning"! The landscapers were pleasant and personable. Brian Ferrell and his staff delivered a quality project (tore out old walkway, installed pavers, edging, gutter drain into the lawn, gravel, stepping stones, transplanted existing plants and planted new plants/shrubs, tree), in a timely manner and were very reasonably priced. Brian was extremely professional, offering us options, product information, and guidance to ensure we would be happy with our selections. He was flexible and his expertise was invaluable as he fine tuned the design. His workmanship was excellent. We couldn't be more pleased. This was a very positive experience. The outcome exceeded our expectations. We look forward to working with Brian again. We love what he's done!

Nature's Best Landscapes finished up some loose ends that another Landscaper failed to complete for me. Even though it was a small project that many others may have turned away, I was made to feel like a valued client. I was happy with the quality of both the work and the materials used. I was especially happy with the communication. If it rained and they were unable to work, it was never assumed I knew and would let me know they'd be delayed due to rain.

The house we bought was in need of significant landscape modification. We started with removing and replacing the front sidewalk to accommodate downspout drainage. The old sidewalk was removed, the drain run into the lawn and a new walk and entry was created with pavers. This was phase one. For phase two, we had old overgrown shrubs removed, 3 boulder walls built, multiple plants and shrubs planted, stone edging for the beds installed, and all beds mulched. Phase three was just completed by adding another boulder wall, replacing stone in areas on the side and back of the house, adding more plantings and refreshing the mulch beds. All three phases were based on a plan created by Nature's Best and modified on the fly by my wife as the projects developed. Brian and his crew completed all phases of the work with great care, skill and a "can do" attitude that makes working with them very easy and pleasant. Our vision of the home is realized and exceeds our expectations. The projects were completed in a very timely fashion at a very reasonable price.
